Default Sustained boost without engine code

Does anybody know how much boost can an S2 map sensor/computer handle before it goes into a engine code. Does anybody know if the honda ecu tables even have +map pressure calcs?

S2000 stock map sensor can read up to 10psi but ecu will throw a check engine light if it sees any positive pressure from the map sensor and it will also pull timing. If you go FI and without a stand alone ECU you will need something to clamp the map sensor voltage either electronically or mechnically. I had the missing link one way check value on my car but now I have the EMS system and am selling the one way check value.
