I don't know if they will even smog it out here... Some places are anal. You might have it easier out in MASS.

Supertrapp makes a special end cap specifically for exhaust sniffers. I'd just put them on before I went to the inspection station.

Hep,
Could you post some more pics if you get a chance? I'd like to see how the stock piping looks w/ the supertrapps. Another straight on picture but lower to the ground would be great.
Also, how much lighter do you think this is compared to stock? Thanks, and BTW, they look good.

Here is a picture of the various end caps. I think the bottom left is the emmissions test cap, about $9.

Hep...have you had any heat/melting problems with the SuperTrapps on the car?

Nope, everything is working perfectly. Even did a track day in the Nevada desert at 100+ deg.. There was another guy there that also had 'trapps on a white supercharged car.

my RM Racing exhaust did some melting on the rear plastic, oh well, I'll cut around the melted area with a dremel.

They look good, for a 160-180 each? that would still be better than that cost of 2 R1 style mufflers welded into stock pipping.

I believe these were originally designed for motorcycles.
