Why would you want something somewhat reliable, when AP2 retainers are indestructible.
If I decide to go the FI way will I be able to upgrate to supertech 80lb single springs with AP2 retainers?

You only need to install springs if you get a more aggressive cam. The head on the F20C flows better than any SR20 RB26 VQ35 or 4g63 out there, so you're perfectly fine with OEM cams and valve train for boost.
