Ok let me clarify.
Yes the car is reasonably fast as a dragster. Really fast if you consider its a 2750lb+ car with a 2.0 liter NA.
But the point I am trying to make is that you will break so many parts doing it right, I cannot possibly imagine that it is worth it. Couple that with the car's fabulous cornering abilties and you would simply be wasting a really good road race car on cro-magnon straightline abuse(drag racing).

I guess that when Einstein joined the team they questioned him because he'd only been on-site for 2 days...or Verner von Braun...or Carroll Shelby and on and on. What does how long a guy has been registered on s2ki have to do with his knowledge of internal combustion engines or suspensions or tires or flame fronts or cam grinds or whatever? I think there is a difference in having dragster and a car that will do the 1/4 quickly if need be. I would not take my car to the strip but if challenged I might give in to the temptation.
