Is a supercharger too much for an Amuse Dual Ti?

Sideways,
Some Summations from racing experience...
1) The catalytic convertor might have broken down and tossed some refuse into the exhaust. thereby causing a restriction.
2) The mufflers were defective from the factory.
I've seen several SC'd cars with much more restrictive exhausts than yours that get tracked regularly without any problems.
Just my 2 cents.

This system doesn't have more than 1000 miles on it. No recourse with Amuse, I purchased it used.
It's 60mm I think (2.4 inches x 25.4 mm/in = 60.96mm)
The first blow out was with a backfire. The second one was 9200+ rpm in 5th, I was flying low.
Builanga, you'll probably be ok with the Amuse. I was pumping out way more power than you would see.
Jack, Mugen is stainless steel, no problem.
Apparently the largest titanium shop around is R & D Yoshimura America that build titanium exhausts for racing motorcycles. I'll be checking with them next week to see if I can get some 60mm stock.

Cuase i'm planning to use 7 at the beginning, then when I get a AEM computer will pump it to 11. Afterwards if I'll be needing more power, rebuild block and go higher. Thing is I don't wanna change the exhaust. I love the freaking sound of thiis one.

I think we need to be clear on something. Amuse doesn't make the Dual Ti as a FI application. The R1000 is the only exhaust they make for the s2000 with FI in mind. Others have run the Amuse with a standard SC (not modded as in this case) without any problems. So I don't think we should be blaming the product. Sideways has just exceeded the capabilities of that particular exhaust. For it's intended purpose from the manufacturer there won't be a problem.

I have the RM Racing exhaust and a hi-flow cat. My Comptech S/C dynoed at 315 rwhp with 440 injectors, Toda flywheel, 8 lb pulley, AEM computer and wide band exhaust. I haven't had any problems with the exhaust. It isn't loud but it does flow well. RM racing shows a dyno increase of 7 hp. If you have to change exhaust I can highly recommend this one.
