I have a SC'd and a non SC'd car - I have floor mounted industrials fans in my garage - when i bring the car in and after shut down, I turn the fan on while I getting ready to cover the car, or check the oil. I see this as a preventative maintenance thing - engine temps go high right after shutdown, as none of the mechanical systems is functioning - no water pump, no air through the rad, and a lot of the underhood heat transfers to hoses, electrical parts, etc. So a fan keeps things moving, so the engine can cool down. Plus, it gets a lot of the heat out of the garage - in the summer, since the garage is A/C'd, that helps with the electrical bill.
