Default Summer Time Heat Soak

As the temperature has risen into the lower 90's around here, I've can feel the slight decrease in HP. About how much HP is lost in a stock or near stock S2000 when the temperature is say... 95 degrees and humid versus 70 degrees? And is there any other reason cars lose HP as the temperature increases... is it just ingested hot air in the intake or other reasons too?

There are too many variables to say "you'll loose X hp", and every car is a little different.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it. There's not much you can do about the weather, so why worry about hp looses from it? Everyone is going to have the same problem.

I'd say anywhere form 20 to 30 hp seem to run .2 to .3 slower on hot days then cooler days at the drag strip
