Sub frame bolts

Default Sub frame bolts

i think my subframe is bent only a little but i bought another one to replace it.. will i need to buy new subframe bolts just in case the old ones are bent?



the website says i only need 4 of number 12 bolts.. is that correct?

which are

90164-S2A-000 12 BOLT, FLANGE (12X162)

Should be able to tell when you unbolt them if they are bent. It will be pretty obvious.

i kno im asking which one are the subframe bolts? number 12 in the picture?

ok i tried ordering the subframe bolts.. but they tell me that they are on back order with no ETA... that means they do not know when will they come in..is there any other bolt i can buy at a hardware store that fits?

I replaced that cross-member a month ago. It's mounted by 6 big bolts, 4 of those labeled 12 and 2 8s. the 8s are a lot longer. it's a major PITA, took me 2 days.

My car sat on level ground as if there was a fat dude sitting in the driver seat - not level, even though there was noone there. I thought a gas shock lost some pressure and wasn't holding up the right rear quarter. Turns out the whole frame of the car was twisted like a propeller, but only about 3/4" . a frame shop took care of that, shouldn't have replaced that cross-member.

Hey, don't bother replacing those bolts. The ones you've got are already stretched, and won't need to be re-torqued if you reuse them. I did, all's fine.

im just scared that the bolts bent sideways and arnt straight anymore... just want to be ready if thats the case.. and i only need to replace the rear
