So you say that vapor's s2k reach 240 whp with I-H-E plus aem ems

so if we add to all this toda high compresion pistons with 2.2 stroker kit, toda spec c camshafts, valve springs, adj. cam pulleys, toda itb's or jenvey itb's or twm itb's, racing spec clutch and flywheel, RC 480cc injectors, carbon propeller shaft, with all this we will gain only 5-10 whp ???? you have to be kidding man.

With less than i mentioned above toda says you will reach 290whp and this number is not speculated.

i am not saying about vtec killer camshafts because someone mentioned on a daily driven car.
what is the strongest cam that is streetlegal/ capable of everyday driving?

are u referring to "Vapor's" S2k? he was putting down about 240 on a dynapack with just I/H/E & aem ems...not bad..
if you ask me, i think ITB's, amuse headers, R1000, aem ems, and toda camshafts you'll hit probably 240 or so whp
so you say:

Intake - Header - Exhaust - ECU = 240whp

and ITBs + I-H-E + ECU + cams = 240 again???

what do you smoke guys?

Yea but that number doesn't mean much a stock MY04 will put down 240ish on a dynapak, which is between 215-220 on a dynojet.

No, I was referring to Hams2000's setup. He claimed 237rwhp on a dynojet (I believe his baseline was between 195-200). So, he gained about 40rwhp. IIRC, his mods were: intake/header/exhaust/toda cams Spec A v1, and AEM EMS.
Vapor's S2K may have made 240 on a dynapack, but his baseline was probably 215-220, so that's only a gain of about 20-25hp. Not bad for bolt ons, but still not close to one of the highest NA F20Cs.

Sure thing, friend. If 280rwhp was possible w/ Toda's parts, don't you think somebody on this board would be making 280rwhp NA by now? I guarantee if there was someone on this board making that kind of NA power, we'd have heard about it by now... and it wouldn't be coming from the manufacturer.

BTW... for anybody that thinks you can hit 240rwhp w/ just I/H/E/cams... check my sig. I have all that, and I'm pretty sure I'm still a hair under 240rwhp (dynojet).

Strongest streetlegal? Possibly the Toda Spec A. I only say this because I believe that Toda recommends using an aftermarket ECU with their other cams, so that would make them "not streetlegal", since you wouldn't pass emissions testing (assuming that the test is done by plugging into the ECU and scanning the OBD-II codes). However, assuming you can run the Spec B or C's with the stock ECU without throwing a code, then the Spec C's should be the strongest street legal cams for the F20C.

Strongest cam available for everyday driving should be the Spec C's. While they are more aggressive than the Spec A's, I see no reason that they wouldn't be streetable. You might have a slightly rougher idle, but I wouldn't expect it to be unstreetable.

Awesome, thanks everyone for your input.
It seems 280-290 whp is about tops. That's far from depressing... With our weight and gearing advantage, that should take an E46 M3 (280whp stock, about 700 lbs more)...

That's my goal!! Don't ask why!!

All out N/A power and street legal/very drivable don't mix together too well.

Increase compression with custom valve relief and run some insane custom cams that let you make power upto 10.5k with your built head. Custom sized intake manifold. Custom headers and exhaust (probably go with hytech for the best bet).

The car probably wont be able to idle, but hey, you didn't ask which wouldn't make you hate the car. Just what it'd take to make a lot of N/A power.

Once you change the insides of the engine, it doesn't "sing" the same anymore. So you cant just use the regular old off the shelf stuff and expect it to be just as efficient.
