Default stripped/rounded header bolt

ive rounded/stripped off a head of a bolt the screws into the block

i bought the sockets made to get rounded off bolts out but no luck

ANY IDEAS of what i should try please and THANKS

these bolts are rarely rusted, so you should be able to get it off.

Use a long chisel and catch the edge of it, break it loose with the chisel.

I had a problem similar to yours but not as bad I as able to get it off with a chisel. Tighten the other bolts first so that it is not the only bolt holding it on and give it a Good wack to loosen it

I had a similar problem, A nut was stripped on the tophat of my coilovers. After trying everything (it seemed like) I used a dremel to wear down the sides of the nut to weaken it, then I did what Billman did and used a chisel to crack the nut off.
