Just got back to this. I picked up a makita 4 1/2 inch angle grinder today and bought a metal cutting disc and blew through it in about 10 seconds. What a weak bolt. The rear end came right out after the driveshaft was off. I didn't cut into the washer or shaft at all. I forgot how nice an angle grinder is to have around.
