Stripped oil pan drain, following Billman's advice, is this the correct replacement?

Yep, in fact a whole quart is probably overkill. Put some thick grease on the bolt it'll catch most of the shavings.

Annother option: Removing the Oil pan only takes about 30 minutes at this car. Then use a helicoil and repair the stripped threads. Clean everything and re-install it. Done.
Disadvantage: Uses more time, work and a helicoil kit.

It take 30 minutes to hand thread the bolts when you're reinstalling it. Realistically it takes a bit over an hour, most of the time is spent prepping the surface, applying Honda bond, then installing it. It's an hour and a half job, then you have to wait another 30-40 minutes before you can put oil in the pan again.
