stripped diff drain bolt
#2
Try to hammer a smaller socket like a 23 or 22 onto the bolt, or possibly squeeze a small set of vice grips in there, or get a punch and make an indentation at the edge of the bolt then put the punch on an angle and try to spin the bolt out. Where there's a will, there's a way.
The main reason why bolts strip is due to putting constant pressure by pushing or pulling with the wrench/ratchet. You need to give the wrench/ratchet a smack with the palm of your hand to "crack" the bolt loose.

Vice grips and a hammer! I have done this in my earlier days with my oil drain plug so just put the vice grips in and tap them with a hammer to get the plug to loosen. You will most likely destroy the plug so you will have to get a new one. but good luck!

Good luck with that, there's no room to get vise grips on the diff drain bolt with the jack pad surrounding the bolt. 6 point socket and an impact should be able to get it off.
