Striker Plates
Search function isn't working for me so here goes.
Am I correct in assuming that you replace the striker plates for the top ( hard or soft) if they get what looks to be worn down where the hook latches? I don't see a tension adjustment like Miata's have? if that is true, are they expensive?
Thanks

The strikers are fixed and cannot be adjusted for wear. Once they wear, they wear. You can get away with a few bandaid fixes like tubing on the hooks, etc.
But hardtop strikers are only $50-55 shipped or so. Best investment I ever made. Just wish I got them sooner!

There is a DIY thread in the "Under the Hood" section. The install was very easy. I took my time and did it in 20-25 mins. I can probably do it in half the time now. Just be sure to use threadlock on the bolts.
