HI I just brought s2000 around 6 month, i fairly new to s2k , my car got a strange rattle noise came out under the car, I think the noise came out recently
anyone know whats wrong with my car

i search but couldn't find the soultion to it
my buddy said that was common problem for ap1 but not ap2

anyone have soultion to it???? The noise is loud

my guess is the differential, i don't know how you can test, maybe jack the car up, no ebrake, and turn the back wheels, feel for a flunky clunk, drain the diff and tranny fluid, metal is bad =)

when i pedal the gas, especially over 3k rpm the noise came out~~~but not when i am in neutal and padal the gas
, i replaced the my trans and LSD oil few days ago,
but the noise didn't go away, i think happening to every gear, but the engine gets too loud i can't hear the noise

hope its not something serious

Check the diff. It could also be the rear axles. Is the car lowered?

yeah i think i'll check the diff first thing in monday, my car mainaly stock, not lowered its 0'5 model,
i believe the noise come from under the center console , well some where near there and the noise come out only the car is moving

if i stop the car put it in netrual or put in gear rev it (car not moving), the noise kind of unnoticeable
its kind of odd

im pretty so its not normal
just hope i wont burn more money to it

check your valve adjustment

edit: i have rattles under my center console also. im thinking its either the combs inside the cat or maybe an exhaust leak.

watching your video, sounds like exhaust related. also valves like i said up there. gl bro

i try hammer the cat to see if making the same noise, but no sound coming out
today i went to mech shop, he ask me drop the tranny to see it cuz he think the noise coming from inside,
but i gotta wiat til next week need car for the week.

I hope its not something major~~~my funds r not helping right now


anyone fix this kind of problem
