Default A Strange Dealership Service Receipt

I just came home from having the S2000 serviced at the local Honda dealership. The clutch master cylinder was leaking, so they replaced it under warranty.

Looking at the receipt now, I just realized what it says:

211101 CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER - REPLACE. FOR 2007> CR-V, NON-US ONLY. S/B# 02-002 S/B# 98-084

211010 CLUTCH FLUID - BLEED. FOR 2007> CR-V, NON-US ONLY.

wat.

I've heard horror stories of dealerships mixing up the CR-V's diff fluid for the S2000's. I don't think they'd be stupid enough to put a CR-V master clutch cylinder in an S2000.

Any ideas?

on your receipt, there should be the tech's name on it. call them and ask to speak with him/her.

Could it be the same part for both the non-US CRV and the S2000?

I didn't think they made a standard shift CRV for the US market. (maybe the earlier model was available with a stick shift here in the states)?

^Different part numbers. The S2000 part number 46920-S2A-003 is unique and has been unchanged for all models, all years, and all markets.

The overseas CR-V variants have had these part numbers:
1998-2001: 46920-S10-003, 46920-S10-C01
2002-2004: 46920-S7A-A01, 46920-S9A-J03
2004-2006: 46920-S7A-013, 46920-S7A-A02, 46920-S9A-J04
2007-2009: 46920-SMG-033, 46920-SWY-020

The overseas HR-V had part number 46920-S2H-003 (1999-2005), which is only one character different (tech might have made a typo).

go to majestichonda.com and do a search on the parts on both vehicles and see if they are similar part numbers, easy way to ease your mind before you can speak with Honda.

btw, crv fluid isn't vtm4, its dual pump 2 (or 1 for the older ones i think)
vtm4 is for different models like the pilot, mdx and ridgeline.
