Default Stock spring question

I had a set of Tanabe NF210's installed on my S, and I kept the stock springs. I have since upgraded to JIC coilovers and would like to sell the NF210's. I still have the old stock springs and would like to put them back on the stock shocks so if I ever sell the car I can put it back to stock.

However, since I was not there when the new springs were installed I don't know which springs are for the front and which ones are for the back. I looked at the stock springs and the only thing difference I can see is two of the springs have two blobs of blue paint, and two have two blobs of blue paint with orange in the middle. Does anyone know how I can determine which springs are the front and which springs are the back?

Thanks,
Jim

I thought the front springs were longer than the rears. If they are different lengths, see which combination fits the dampers best (about the same amount of preload).

[B]Spring rate for the rear is much stiffer.

You should be able to tell which set is softer. That's the front.

I don't have the rates, but the same change happened to the sway bars. The '02+ front sway bar is smaller than the '02+ rear sway bar.
