stock f20c and f22c piston and rod weights
I did a quick look and couldnt find the info, so i fired up my scale and took some weights.
ap1 piston weight - 355g
ap1 wrist pin weight - 109g
ap1 rod weight - 636g
ap2 piston weight - 346g
ap2 wrist pin weight - 109g
ap2 rod weight - 649g
the ap2 pistons are lighter due to the smaller dome
its curious that ap2 rods weigh more than ap1 rods. I didnt take nay measurements, but just by looking at them it seems that ap2 rods are thicker and wider than the ap1 rods.
the pins look exactly the same.
EDIT:
there was some confusion over the rod weights, so here are some pics of the rods on the scale.
pcx = ap1
PZX = AP2

I think you may have confused your rods, lol. .
When I weighed mine I got
ap2 rod = 638.7
ap1 rod = 648.9
Which would make more sense because the ap1 rod is longer and should weigh more. than the shorter ap2 rod.
Jfyi my machined ap2 pistons weigh 327 grams

The extra displacement is due to stroke, and that is controlled by the crank, rods and pistons.
To convert an F20C to an F22C, you will need the following F22C parts.
1. Pistons
2. Rods
3. Crank
4. Both Cams
Everything else is basically the same. The head and block is the same exact casting (06+ head is different) There is a number of part numbers that are different, but they are interchangeable . For example, the retainers and keeps are different between the two, but you are swap them.
Now they did change the internal machine work inside the block to add additional rod to cylinder clearance, on the lower most edge of the cylinder. the initial F20C was not machined, and when they introduced the F22C, they machined all block in the same fashion. I guess it is cheap to to them all and build them as needed. Either for the assembly line, or spare short blocks. I have seen this in the short block bought and installed after the F20C. (I own two of them). What they did was the same as the OEM Acura parts DIY stroker kit, for the same reasons.

I have these weights for my F20C parts (weighed by myself):
Rods: 645g
Pistons: 372g
Pins: 108g
I have also weighed the masses of my new parts:
Carrillo Rods: 566g
Woessner Pistons: 348g
Woessner Pins: 93g
Pistons always with rings, Rods with bolts
