sounds like you may have glazed you pads. I'd change your pads and fluids. These upgrades can make a noticeable difference.

The only complaint I have of my AP2 brakes is the pads dust a whole lot more than AP1 pads. Can't wait to change them.

upgrading to carbotech xp10/8 for the next event; if they STILL don't brake on a dime (i run 048); then either it's operator error, or the oem system isn't up to snuff.
Those pads will stop you good and quick Good pads + good fluid + R-comps = incredible braking.

Try overheating them again, mebbie you glazed them, and just need the glaze to be burned off

Have you checked for air in the system? Mebbie you need fresh fluid flushed through the system along with a bleed.

Willie Gee, RACER, thx for the input, glad there is a possible cause! Dealer checked the pads, but imo only for wear. I will check the things you suggested and do the necessary changes. If fixed, I will let you all know

Would Honda cover this kind of troubles under the 3 year warranty? I only drove the car (at speed limits ), stopping power was fine for the 1st year until this drive...
