Stiff clutch

Stiff clutch
Hey everyone, I have a 2001 and was curious if all other s2k's have a clutch that takes some effort to push down. If this is not supposed to happen, did anyone know how to fix the problem?

Can you elaborate a bit?
Off the bat, the S2000 does have a heavier clutch than most cars. Not sure if that FRS belongs to someone you know, or if you've driven it but the FRS has one of the softest clutches I've ever used in car, so if you're comparing it to that I wouldn't worry about it.

I appreciate the reply. The FRS in the photo is my friend's car. I actually don't like the clutch being as soft as the FRS. I just find my ap1 is much more difficult to push in than my rsx-s was.

Either your car has a heavy duty clutch, which still isn't really all that "stiff", or you've got something wrong with it, or you've got a very weak left leg. I've got the ACT HD PP and it's still pretty soft compared to other cars I've owned (Viper, Corvettes, TT Stealth). The stock AP1 clutch is pretty soft to begin with. If you've just come from a car with a true stiff clutch, you'd almost push your foot through the floor.

Thanks for the help. I finally was able to meet up with a fellow s2k owner, we switched cars and both of us noticed a huge difference. Maybe I should workout more for a stronger left leg
