Default Stereo not working

I disconnected my battery to reset computer after a mod install. Now my stereo does not work at all. When you turn it on the word "code" flashes on the screen.

You have to enter the code.
It's on a business card looking thing.

Ok. I will have to look for it....

Does this happen everytime you unhook the battery?

What is the purpose? So people who steal them cannot ream the benefits?

It's called an "anti-theft" radio.

check your owners manual sometimes its in there, if you can't find it, it could be time for an aftermarket radio

if you dont have the businesscard that has honda logo and the radio code, i believe you can take down the numbers on the radio and a honda dealer can get you the code

There is a thread that describes in detail a way to get your serial number. It is a series of 8 numbers/letter. Take it to a honda dealership and they can help you. I had to do this a couple of months ago myself (left my headlights on )

Gently pry the radio door enclosure, including the 2 narrow vents out, and you'll see 4 screws holding the stereo in. Take them out, pull stereo out, write down the serial #. Call your friendly local stealership and watch them turn you down. Go there. On your car. Show them your registration. Keep fingers crossed that they will be able to pull up the code from their records. You might have to track down the actual dealership that was the first to sell the car to the first buyer. they will have the code for sure.
