Steering Wheel Removal Question:

Go to an auto parts store and pick up a generic steering wheel removal tool. You'll have to remove the airbag (disconnect the battery for a few mins, remove the screws on the side of the steering wheel that hold it in place, push it out and disconnect it.).
Then connect the tool according to the instructions on the steering wheel--it's pretty basic. Just make sure that when you screw in the two removal screws you don't screw them in too far--if you do you can damage part of the SRS unit. If you don't screw 'em in all the way, you'll strip em.

I drilled a piece of 1/2" steel angle with two holes to line up with the holes in the wheel base hub, put a small socket on the splined shaft (in the center hole to push against), install 2 longer screws in the drilled holes, and just torque them down until it pops off.
