Scambo

I just installed a MUZ STB and when mounting the drivers side strut bracket I had to depress the cruise control cable approximately 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. Routing over the top of the bracket did not appear to be a good way to go. Has anyone else done this (with a MUZ or other STB? If so any problems or better routing options? I op checked the cruise control this AM and everything worked fine. Just a little concerned about the downward push on the cable. Thanks.
