Default static cling!

My car is a dust magnet! I have to drive about a half mile on dirt before pavement, and my car gets just coated with dust - especially the plastic head and tail light covers - but all over. It doesn't wipe off well. Will this ever go away - is there anything I can do? I've searched the threads, and this doesn't seem to have been addressed. I will be getting a calif. duster, when I find out from where...

I have the same problem. Berlina Black gets covered in dust in NO time and looks almost furry.
Calif dusters are avail. at Wal Mart or just about anywhere else.
Let me know how it works.

got around to a nice bath for the car this morning and that seemed to help a lot. One needless trip to town, and very little clingy dust. The static charge that you could actually feel in the plastic lens covers is gone. Did another search last night - what a difference a syllable can make! Got some great ideas there. Thanks for the help - off to walmart soon!
