Default Starting Issue

Hey everyone, I tried searching some stuff but returned a lot of unrelated results.

My 00' with 170xxx miles doesn't start sometimes. Started off a long time ago so I replaced the started with one from O'reilys, worked perfect...for about 6 months.

I'm not sure if it's the starter but now at random the car won't crank when I try to start it. It's like the push button has a "sweet spot". When I push the start button the car clicks once per push but no crank. Then I'll push it hard in the middle and a few pushes later it will go. Battery is fully charged but it had corrosion before I charged it.

Any thoughts...thanks! This is really bothering me. Should I replace the push button?

Sounds like your battery terminals might be loose.

The terminals are tight as can be. Any other ideas?
