Gas separates over time so gas stabilizer will keep u from having to drain the tank and ensure there is good gas in the car.

You gas should be fine enough to ride on if it is less than a year. I would not go into Vtec or even higher than 3.5-4k The burn off was probably the wd-40 like mentioned above. Glad you are back from deployment!

When I got back from my deployment I had to buy a new battery, but the one thing I was most worried about was valves being under compression for such a long period of time. . .

Yeah should off added stablizer too to keep the fuel fresh I kept mine under half a tank before adding stabilzer and storing it FTW

I bought a wrecked S 2 years ago to convert into a track car. It sat for 15 months while I repaired and stripped it, then fired up on the first try when I was ready to haul it to it's first event. The gas won't be a problem
