Default SRS Light ON

Hey,
Just got done putting on my NRG Quick release tonite and well of course the SRS light is on and i was wondering what could i do to turn it off? I was thinking add a same size resistor to the connector that measures with the airbag. I was also curious if my warranty could get voided over having an aftermarket steering wheel? Thanx peace

I imagine most people don't disable a critical part of the safety system so, you're not going to have many answers. I'd take the bulb out of the dash so, you don't see the light. Resister thing though, might let the passenger airbag blow as well as the belt tensioners.

The light doesnt really bother me too much just wondering if my extended warranty will void over it.

Well, if you have a passenger in the car, you wreck and they get hurt, I imagine your insurance liability would be the problem. "Yes your honor, he disabled the air bags and didn't tell me before I rode with him. That's why I'm asking for 5 million dollars to fix my face".

The extended warranty is voided by any mods they want to make an issue about. I read it the other day. It's not like the real warranty. They only have to cover what they want or you get to take them to court. You should read it. Certainly if you don't read it, you won't know what they won't cover.
