SRS code 12

as you can see you can only order the part as a whole, therefore you can only replace the whole unit. a previous post shows how I found the code.
Disclaimer, replacing the clock spring fixed MY problem with a code 1 2, it may not fix yours so don't come yelling at me if it doesn't fix your problem. I suggest you pull the SRS diagnostic code and look up the error code.

No, what I mean is:
How did you found out the relation of the clock spring to error 1-2 ?
I've already found the error , that's why I'm replying to your SRS topic with error 1-2
Because there isn't a lot info here on error 1-2.

to me it was obvious that it was not a low battery or a fuse that went bad. So I got a continuity tester and tested all the wires of the clock spring. Along with the srs light and code 12 I did not have a functioning horn and cruise control. I hope this helps.

Ok thanks, my batterie is also new and the srs fuse is good. Horn still works and my car has no cruise control
But I have found a good used clock spring. I hope that it will work for me too.
I'lll will keep you guys updated
