SRS code 12

Default SRS code 12

i did a little digging around and later found that i have a SRS diagnostic code 12. anyone know what the code 12 is? im finding a few things on the web such as low battery or bad ground.

SRS light came on a few weeks after i installed a trailer hitch.

any ideas people?

If you mean code 1-2 its the drivers airbag.

How do you find the diagnostic code. I had my SRS light come on as well.

ok, any idea what the problem is? my steering wheel and air bag is all stock and has not been worked on.

on your odb2 port jump the leads #4 and #9. turn on ignition and read the blinks.

The clock spring had a bad wire. Replaced it with a new one and the problem was solved.

Thank u, how did you found out ? There isn't a lot to find about this error code.
And was it for a S2000 ? Because I haven't seen any trailer hitch on a s2000

Is this clock spring in the steeringwheel or behind the steeringwheel on te steering column ?

Is it number 9 that you replaced :


Or is it in the airbag ? number 1:
