Interesting that your's is the same year as mine... How many miles do you think you had when it went? I'm only at 42k, and it's not like I don't drive it!

you won't know if the hub needs to be replaced until you pull the old bearing off. with my mileage, i decided it was worth an extra $100 or so to go ahead and replace the hub while i had it all apart. if you're on a budget, you may be fine, but definitely inspect it.

How many miles do you think you had when it went?
mine had probably...125k-ish on it when i replaced it; i replaced the same one probably 25k later, so who knows how long they _should_ last. i didn't replace the hub the second time though.
