Squeaking from the rear

Default Squeaking from the rear

Hey fellow S2kers,

Whenever I slowly go over a speed bump, the rear end seems to squeak. I can hear it over my left shoulder while driving. It sounds like its coming from the frame or body but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

It could be dry / dirty sway bar bushings. It is probably easier to just pull the busings off 1 at a time, clean and lubricate them, and put them back on than it would be to diagnose it. If that isn't it, then it could be a bad ball joint, damper, or suspension bushing.
