so have you tried reseting the ecu? I'm in georgia and some days its 40F outside and the next day it'll be 70F and sticky. My S always acts up when the weather changes.
Thats when i give the ecu a little "rest" so it can start learning fresh and without sterotypes about the environment

this probably isn't the problem, but did you try replacing or cleaning your air filter? this happened to me one day...except it wasn't intermittent. it started about 30 min. into my drive on the highway, and kept wanting to die (if left in neutral the engine would die out) up until i reached my destination.
luckily i had purchased an AEM V2, so i decided to put that on and it cured my dirty filter/heat bog problem.

Ok, all was good until today. I was driving around campus and I came to a stop sign. Gave the throttle a little blip when I was about to stop and the car went dead. It took forever to get the damn thing started. Its like it only acts up when im in stop and go traffic. I have noticed that it sputters every time I come in my driveway. Its a small hill. Im gonna try a fuel filter first then a fuel pump if the problem continues. Still open for suggestions though haha. Thanks guys.

Ok, well this weekend I met up with a buddy of mine with his s2k. I took his MAP sensor and put it on my car. The problem continued. So back to the drawing board. What do you guys think about the throttle positioning sensor? I was going to try and check my fuel pressure but I cant figure out how on this car? Is there some sort of adapter I need? Thanks

The TPS is usually pretty reliable. You can put a volt meter on it and test it's range. Should be 0.5 - 4.5 volts of so.
Fuel pressure is also unlikely. You can take off the mushroom or supply line and use an adaptor or banjo bolt on either with a gauge connector.
I would check all you vacuum lines for kinks or disconnection

Well here's some more food for thought, whens the last time you cleaned your short ram intake filter?
as said i was experiencing similar problems as you, car idling realy bad, come to a stop light it almost dies...
i checked my air box, my "southern engineered" filter assembly had came of and blocked the airway! Fixed it, didn't even need to reset my ecu, car's been fine since....
