well i went to my car lot thinking that we had a engine hoist and a engine stand.. WRONG.. so didnt get anything done that day.. so i went and purchased this

removed my airbox

And noticed this massive oil collection on the motor as you can see here..

and here..

the service manual says to remove the transmission to remove the motor.. so im in the process of doing that, i am stuck on the stupid started bolts which people have helped me figure out how to attack that problem with a long long swivel extension.. Hopefully

Looks like that leak is originating from the front crank pulley seal in the timing cover. It is being throw out in all directions.

yes remove trans first.

unplug engine harness connectors at ecu. dont pull them out yet....wait till you are raising the engine, and slowly fish them with the engine. any other way will break the harness.

Leave the upper and lower rad hoses connected. Leave as much on the engine as you can. this is important, because the hose and wire routing under the intake is critical.

It also makes the job very easy

Those bolts are always SUPER tight since they hold the tranny to the body

Use a breaker bar then throw a long pice of pipe on the end for extra leverage.

Also heat the bolt up for a good bit then crank on it. A lot of times a bit of water gets in the threads and rust it solid.

Remember to use a jabbing or snapping motion on the breaker bar! Gradually applying more and more pressure to the bar is a GREAT way to snap the bolt head off, just give the bad a hard quick snap!

Also on the air gun if your using the thin line (the coiled up plastic hose) run a bigger 1/2" hose straight to the impact the larger air supply makes a big difference!
