Default Spring Installation

I'm going to install some Tien Springs on my S2K. Since it's only a 1" drop, can someone tell me if the stock bumpstop needs to be cut in half?

If you cut those bump stops will the car be lower?

If you lower on stock shocks and cut the bump stops, you stand a good chance of blowing the shocks if you bottom out. The bump stops prevent the shocks from bottoming out.

Lowering on stock shocks is problematic for that very reason. Essentially you've lost a full inch of suspension travel.
