Default Are Spoon valves just re-worked OEM valves?

Looking at their product description, it appears that they just take stock valves and polish them. Can anyone confirm this? Are these valves any lighter than stock?

They're polished and balanced stock valves, and yes they are a few grams lighter each as well.
