My bad CBJ. Thats good to hear though....Ive been fearing the rain....I can remove my CAI in less than 30sec if I need too..(yeah Im sad I was practicing it at one point incase of a rain emergency....

Thanks for that story CBJ, my mind is at ease now.

No problem. To tell you the truth I was pretty worried at the time with the rain pouring down. When we stopped, I opened up to airbox check it out and it was dry. I think the combination of the water/rain having to flow up the scoop and the air dam and drain holes of the airbox make the likelihood of any problems very remote. Of course I'm not saying that it couldn't happen though; I remember someone on the board whose engine was killed by water ingestion a couple months ago - with the stock airbox. So anything can happen.

How is the performance on the air intake. Is it worth the money to instll it. What kind of percievable performance gain have you guy gotten.

Besides sound, (deeper rumble), I hear you can get from 3-5hp @ the wheel?? Is that right?? Not only with Spoon but with the others. Mugen is a nice setup...plus you save some weight because you remove the stock airbox.
