So let's see. We have an engine that is balanced, blueprinted, a little ported and possibly a thinner head gasket. Oh, and a yellow rocker cover.

We have an unbelievable power claim and unbelievable atmospheric conditions. And when you make the atmo believable the power becomes reasonable. Hmmmm....

And a tuner who can tell compression ratios from compression tests.

Oh, and we're $8-10k down!

and someone who feels the need to make jerky comments...

This wasn't just a longblock (which retails for about 5500), it was a complete swap with the spoon clutch, flywheel, release bearing, intake manifold, alternator, complete head, and yes, a spoon valve cover... It was a complete swap for that price... The damage that the toda cams in my old motor caused warranted replacement of everything. This wasn't something I just did for namesake alone.

I talked to Duane at Titan. Their pressure box had been hit by lightning, explaining why their dyno had been down for a while... He has offered to let me come in for a further tune and more dyno time with a corrected CF.

Thanks for the heads up from the members who posted with info, it's helped to weed some more issues with the motor out. I really do appreciate how constructive this board can be at times. A big "Blow Me" goes out to those who found a need to make it out like I was trying to pull a fast one and criticised me for no reason...

Irregardless, the car is going to be supercharged shortly. I'll keep those interested updated, but I'd like a mod to lock this thread due to the fact that the information was skewed unbeknownst to me.

I didn't criticise you nor accuse you of being dishonest. I just summarised the facts, Dispute them if you like, but don't shoot the messenger.

Personally you have my sympathy. If I'd paid good money and been told I got good power and then it turned out to be false (the jury is still out) I'd be well upset.
