Spoon ETD installation question
I installed the heatshield and then I went ahead and was going to install the really very black peice that mounts onto the strut bar area. There's a handle that goes downward that hooks to the ETD. As it turns out, one of the handles for which the fusebox holds itself up is welded onto the frame, which is blocking the handle of the black piece to not fit. I wish I had pics, but my camera isn't with me. I'm just wondering if this is just a 2006 problem because everyone seems to say this install was super easy. Also, the 2 screws on the strut bar area. I have to remove them to install the black spoon bracket, and just making sure, this is fine right? It won't mess with the shocks?
If anyone has a close up pic of their Spoon ETC installed, that would be most awesome. I would love to hear if the fusebox holder welding is just an 06 problem or an all around piece that people have removed. Thanks.

You have to remove that welded piece. Thats the only way to do it. NRG/SPOON ETD brackest do not come with an extra bracket for the fuse box. As far as I know only J's does.
If you do a serach there was a post made by Exody documenting the need to remove that welded piece. It is not an 06 problems, every year has a welded bracket there for the fuse box. Removing the bolts on the shock will not effect the shocks in any way, neither will removing the welded bracket.

That is correct. Before you do that though check out this bracket. I will have the pricing worked out this week.
