I have the AUS snorkle. On MY '02 it fit perfectly, the hood did not rub it. On MY '03, it rubs a lot and after a lot of hood adjusting (which the dealer didn't know how to do) the hood closes but sits slightly high on one corner...

I don't know what the difference is between years, it must be small variances in build tolerances.

Duh....I forgot Marc one there is something else I've done that you can do. You can lower the airbox a little by taking off the front corner mounting bolt, then take out the metal insert from the rubber bushing and tightening it down. The metal insert provides a stand-off & the rubber bushing dampens vibrations in the airbox (I guess). It should gain you about 1/8" or so.

Im gonna go check that out right now. I raised the hood bracket up jus a notch and wanna get it almost to where it sits perfect(where ever that is). MARCUS

i just adjusted the hood latch a bit, now one corner sits slightly high as well, but I'm will to live with that to prevent damage to the intake
