Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Spoon camshafts are readily available in Japan. The only thing that is not available at this time from the Spoon S2000 catalog is the instrument cluster. Even the calipers are availabe (now blue instead of the prototype silver). Spoon also offers a oil catch can which is not listed in their catalog and website. Just look at the Spoon street cars where our (US version) cruise control unit sits. You will see a silver box with two lines going in to it. And by the way, I know for a fact that there is only two authorized Spoon Sports distributors in the United States (and they both don't sponsor our board, which is too bad). I spoke briefly with Meieko Sekiguchi (I hope I spelled her name right), a representative from Spoon, when she stopped by in LA for a couple of dealer visits. She also mentioned that that North America currently accounts for 30% of their business. Pretty hard to imagine with only one dealer in Canada and two state side. But then again, Honda vehicles are not really popular with the aftermarket in Japan compared to Toyota and Nissans.

can you confirm with Toda/AKH Trading about the compression rates that their F20C cams will support?

I don't think you'll have to worry about running too high a compression ratio for toda cams.

Yeah, sorry. I saw that after I made the original post. It still doesn't change the fact that the cams won't have any problems with a higher compression, but the gains will be more noticeable with the higher compression.
