Default SpeedBleeders - What is the right size for S2000?

Gang,

Could you please tell me what the right product code / size for SpeedBleerders for the 2002 S2000? Also I know these things are made of super soft metal, do you guys know what the proper torque setting is (being the ham-fistted guy that I am, I ended up stripping 2 SB's on my old '00 S2K). Thanks a million!!!

Torque: snug. Size, call and tell them you have an S2000. They know the right size.

Or you can order Earl's solo bleeders from Rick's. They are a version with an external check valve that work just fine.

Are the Earl's solo bleeders better than the Speed Bleeders? I can't find any pictures of them, and they are more expensive. Rick's web site indicates that they are $36 for a set, but the Speed Bleeders are only $28.

BTW, the Speed Bleeder web site says that their bleeders should be tightened to 32-40 Inch-Pounds (NOT Foot-Pounds).

How often should the brakes be blead (sp?)? My S is only 5 months old, but I have 10K miles on it, and my fluid is getting pretty dark. I have also been autocrossing it every other weekend.

Ditto on the question of: "what is different/better about Earl's solo bleeders?" I don't mind the extra cost if they are more reliable from a construction stand-point, but functionally do they differ in any way?

Remember who's asking: I'm a guy who firmly beleives in sticking with what works. And SpeedBleeders do work very nicely. -KM.
