Hello. I ran in to a problem this morning. I am replacing my spark-plugs however one of the is stuck. It looks like there is a rubber washer stuck on it was it stopping me from getting the socket over the plug. The space is so small that I cant get anything down there to remove the washer. I think the honda might have left the washer in there when they replaced the spark plugs in 03 for a recall. Any advice on how to get that washer off? I really have no idea what the hell it is doing there. I

Or you could take the corresponding rubber bit out of your spark plug socket if that doesn't work...

With the combination of a knife to cut and stab it to pieces. I dental pick to scrape loose the small parts. A vacuum cleaner with a small tube rigged to it for sucking all the loose pieces out. And a can of compressed air to blow out all small dusty bits. And five hours later I got it all out and the new plugs in.

I would of gone with this method, but congrats on getting it done!!

So funny my mate was working on his Supra while I was replacing his front pulley, he was swapping out the plugs and was tightening them up and all of a sudden he couldn't fit the socket over the plug.

Him and another guy was there for 5-10 minutes trying to figure it out... I got out from under the car, loooked at it and you could see the rubber on the top... i almost smacked them over the back of the head lol

if you dont have a dental pick.
i just used a wire hanger and bent it to fit around the seal.
