From what I can gather the OEM Replacements are NGK Platinums. (Ithink about

I dont know specifics as to why but....stick with OEM.

Stay with OEM... I have seen aftermarket plugs break...

OEM they work well for this motor and last.

There is no need to spend extra on Iridium except that you might get a little more life from the plug.

I'm not talking about Aftermarket ones guys. I'm talking standard NGK Iridiums or Platinums.

I found a thread on Honda-Tech saying it was the Platinum NGKs that were the OEM plug??
If its the Iridiums then my local Honda dealer is selling them cheaper than my local motor factors(motor parts store)? Hardly??

@kin670 - you don't need to gap the OEMs do you??

OEM are NGK Laser Platinums. You don't have to gap OEM plugs, they should come pre-gapped.

The iridiums work ok...but they won't give you anything extra unless you are turbo/SC. NA just won't see a benefit.

the oem are ngk platinums. i recently changed mine and they did come pregapped. you are not supposed to gap platinum plugs, only check the gap.

just use oem...

unless you are running some fancy tune, or are FI just do oem.

OEMs from the local Motor Factors it is so. Expensive over here compared to for you guys though -
