I don't think $50 was too much if it included the price of plugs, but I definitely think the shop needs to refund the money since they put the wrong plugs in.

One step colder works wonders and you have to regal the plugs as they are tapped wrong from NGK. You need to be very careful as the electrode is more fragile.

50 will get me 6ish sets of plugs + 5-10 minutes of labor, which while tuning you are paying for already.
