Default Which spark plugs?

Hi! I'm going to change the spark plugs in my car. Just put a new engine in. The engine has Skunk2 cams, double valve spring, titanium retainers, 68mm throttle body, intake gasket and AEM EMS. I was adviced to stick with OEM plugs, but Honda offers both Denso and NGK. I'm a bit sceptical to the NGK since the ones on in the previous engine were NGK and one of them broke at the tip and fell into the cylinder... What do you recommend (and why)?

I'd go with NGK platinums for long life and b/c you are not FI. Copper won't anything for you until you go FI, they just wear out and clog more quickly.

I run NGK V-Power(Copper) plugs in all my cars.Just changed the S2K today after 20,264 miles.20 min job and 4 plugs cost $7.38,gap 44.

Since mine is mostly stock,I use NGK BKR6E.Since your's is somewhat Mod,I would try a step colder.....NGK BKR7E.Try gap 35 or 30.

As always,IMO.

Since you aren't stock, and are probably tuned more agressively than stock, you should run the coldest plug that you can get away with. I would try the NGK BKR8E-11 first. It is not expensive, since it's copper, so if they are too cold, it won't be a big loss. If they are too cold, then they'll just foul out. If they are not too cold, then you'll get about 5K miles of great performance out of them.

My AP2 had a 7 heat range from the factory. I believe it was a BKR7EIX-11. It sounds like you are running hotter than stock, which will probably lead to LOTS of knock retard even on a stock car.
