I have to bring my car in for a valve adjustment to my personal Honda mechanic me and my parents have gone to for years, and I want him to check my spark plugs as well. If they need to be replaced, what spark plugs would he put in? Or should I buy good spark plugs on my own? I have a Kraegen down the street. What good spark plugs would they sell for an AP1?

It's already been recommended several times already to use OEM plugs.
You have a MY00 car. Have you ever had the spark plug recall done? If so, get the same ones that are in there now - the OEM plugs. If not, get the same plugs but the newer revised ones. They are the same part number but with an "S" on the end of the number. Look in your owner's manual to find the number. If you've got the recall done, your manual should also have little stickers with the new part number. The recall also involved increasing the torque to 18.

ok, thanks. I will ask my mechanic if he can order them. Or maybe I can buy them from the Honda dealership or Kraegen if he doesnt have them? Im not sure if the spark plug recall was done to my car. Got it used from the Honda dealership and the people there are dumbasses when it comes to knowing stuff about S2K's surprisingly. Maybe thats why I got a great deal on my car from them!! lol

someone check these spark plugs out on Ebay and tell me if these are the ones I need or not? Are these the OEM's ya'll recommend for an all motor AP1 with some bolt ons? And what do I look for when looking at the gaps?

and why are these ones more expensive by the same seller?

or should I just buy the NGK OEM platinum spark plugs from sparkplugs.com and are these the newer revised plugs from this site with the "S" at the end of the part number?

I find it disquieting that the eBay seller does not list the model number of the plug, so there is no way of knowing what plug you will get other than it is "OEM recommended". Additionally, there is no difference in the product descriptions, yet they charge $48 for one set and $88 for the other. I would not buy those plugs.

Buy OEM plugs from one of our venders and then you know that you got the right ones. For a specific recommendation, I've been very happy with service from H and A Accessories and Hardtopguy. They also sponsor this site, so I like to give them my business.

It's been suggested MANY times in this thread to get the OEM plugs. If you still don't want to believe this and want to go with some unknown ebay product, then why ask anymore?

The ebay ones ARE OEM, just didnt know why they were different prices since they look the same and the seller wont answer my emails.

So they say. Funny how he doesn't print the part number nor does he take a picture of the plug with the part number showing.
