Default sounds like something rattling

i have a 2008.
was driving it and then came home and pulled in the garage and a friend tells me he hears rattling coming from my car,
thought it was maybe the exhaust but i jacked up my car while it was running and was listening around and it sounds like it is coming from the tranny.
the noise gets a little louder when i shut the engine off.
i was under the car and had someone shut the engine off and it sounds like something is boucing around in the tranny case/tranny or something

I'd take it in for some warranty work.

i have that problem too...

When I shut off my car, I just push in the clutch. It reduces that rattling noise. HAHA!

Sounds similar to the loose clutch disc spring issue that which necessitated a TSB on the 00-01 models.

Sounds like a bad bearing in the clutch system - does it go away when you engage the clutch system?

Theres also the possibility that there is something sitting on top of the tranny. When people lose oil caps, that is typically where they end up and they do rattle.

so guess get a mirror and check for an 710 cap and then go see the dealership, i assume a 2008 is still under warranty? thankfully your car is still new and you don't have to eat it.
