Sometimes pops out of 2nd when shifting from first
When im shifting into second maybe im not putting my foot all the way down on the clutch sometimes but it will pop out real quick while the shifter is still in my hand, and I put it back in and im on my way. happens VERY so often maybe im shifting too quickly not paying attention.
It shifts very smoothly into gear otherwise.

I bet you are not depressing the clutch all the way. Happened to me when I was shifting too fast and was not actually pushing the clutch down all the way because I was in a hurry, back when I got the car in 2001. If you make sure the clutch is all the way down until you are fully in gear your problem will probably go away.

Does the tranny pop out of 2nd, with car in gear and you are coasting to a stop. Or when you are driving around in 2nd? I had a 1992 Acura Legend that did this in 4th gear. Started at around 40K miles. Changing fluids help somewhat, but it would still occasionally pop out. Very annoying.
Must have been an internal thing with the tranny. I sold the car, prior to overhauling the tranny.

Years ago my old transmission would slip out of fourth at certain speeds when there was no load. Honda told me it was a shaft out of spec and replaced it under warranty to solve the problem.

no its never popped out on decal or anything just when I try to go to quick and maybe don't put it in all the way.
I've grinded that gear a couple times at high rpm shifts what kind of damage could that cause?
