Default Something wrong with OEM radio

Okay once in a while i start the car and the radio dosnt power on immideately. It takes a while before it powers on. I press the on button and it wont turn on until a few minutes later. Is something not powering it?

havn't had that problem yet but i have had to replace mine already (05) because the thing somehow overheated and destroyed the cd player. done that to two OEM radios already. see if your connections are plugged in all the way. it is a tight fit when installing the radio.

Sounds like you've got a partially blown fuse

this has been brought up multiple times, it's a relay malfunction, AFAIK

kind of late but for peeps that may come across this problem. I pop the hood, open the fuse box and pulled out the acc/backup fuse and turned it around and put it back in. Start the car and green light comes on instantly. wierd but works now.
