something interesting happened to my
so i start her up at around 11am and it's 64degree's outside...she's idling, i make sure she's in neutral before i de-clutch, putting the top down then all of a sudden she just shuts off...it actually startled me cause i thought my car just died permanently...does this happen periodically to cars in general? i have an 07' and about 9,300miles...i started her back up and was expecting to have her die again but she ran just fine afterwards...

Weather change. It trips out the ecu. The reason why the car didn't die the second time around is cause the ecu "learned' the weather condition and adapted to it
I think you should be good for now on
